9th Appointment - 32 weeks

Date of appointment : 21 February 2006

Douglas is late. Again.

Lina's appointment was supposed to be at 7pm. Douglas arrived at 725pm and there were 2 patients before us. When our turn came, it was already 750pm. Anyway, we weren't in a rush and we already had our dinner.

When we went into his consultation room, I was carrying Lina's pink coloured Lacoste handbag for her. Douglas greeted me with 'Oh, new age. Guys carrying pink coloured handbag' and he chuckled. I guess the joke's on me, but... I don't mind. (:

Alright, on to serious stuff. The scan showed that the baby is slowing changing position, her head is moving downwards. A previous note by Douglas that the placenta is low lying has taken on a better change. The placenta is no longer in the lower region and it is no longer an obstruction.

Baby's weight is estimated to be on the high side of 1.4kg.

Everything's normal at present.

There'll be a blood test and smear test on Lina's next appointment to check for presence of infection.
